This was to become a rainy day. Well until past noon it rained continuously. I walked partly along the beach, partly on E9 through forests and open fields until I reached Funkenhagen / Gaski and it's light tower. To dry out and warm up I went into a nice coffee shop directly adjacent to E9. Here in Funkenhagen noticeable many new summer houses were build or under construction. I went on via Sorenbohm / Sarbinowo and Groß Möllen / Mielno to Nest / Uniescie. This section was mostly on sand roads but partly on paved roads too. From Nest / Uniescie until Laase / Lazy I had the Baltic Sea on the left and lake Jasmunder See on the right; unfortunately completely on pavement.
