Until arriving at the Cabane d'Ourtiga, where we had camped not far away from, the trail was ok. than the real climb started. It was up and up all the way until arriving at Couret d'Esquierry at 2.131 m. The trail was very steep and we had a very sunny and very warm day. This is a very well hiked part of GR10 with many hikers passing by. The descent was easier but still rather tough. Towards the bottom there was a good view of the parking lot at the end of the road. From here it is a bit over 3 km to Lac d'Oô which attracts a lot of day hiker. Shortly before arriving at the road we found a spot for the night amongst some trees.
