Following a peaceful night with the soundless dog in the shelter meant to be for hikers with dogs I moved on. The weather was ok but the wind started to pick up again. The next lake crossing was to be at Sitojaure Fjällstugan. By now the wind was so strong that it was uncertain for quite a while whether the boat would be going at all. With quite a bit of delay from the ferry schedule we finally went across. With this delay it was impossible to reach the next ferry today. So I took my time and camped at the steep descent shortly before going back into the forest. Quite a few tents where up here. Next morning I hiked to the ferry pier which was well over one km from Aktse Fjellstuga. There where quite a few hikers waiting for the boat. Finally it was my turn with the last ride around 10:30 h.

 

This was the last boat trip prior to arriving at Kvikkjokk. The trail further on was partly very good to walk but some stretches where rather rocky. The trail ran mostly through forests. In Kvikkjokk I re-supplied at the STF Fjellstation for the next section. I also had lunch before moving on.
