Having had a nice breakfast I continued along roads. Only at Huså could I start hiking on trails. At Huså is a large billboard showing the various trails around Mountain Åreskutan. All trails have one thing in common; they start climbing for a while. I did not climb all the way to the top but instead circled it. Here the trail was partly very wet. And then it started raining again. Descending into Åre I came by an old funicular. In town I re-supplied for the following section. I also bought a new rain pant from Haglöfs. Åre seems to be a rather expensive winter sport place. Being here in summer it was rather deserted. At the tourist office the very helpfull staff got me a cabin for the night a bit outside of town.
