During the night I heard plenty of showers and gusty wind. When I got up in the morning I was in the clouds and when packing up it started raining again. With two exceptions the trail was in good shape and easy to walk. The first difficult but still much better than yesterday part was getting down from Mountain Storhaugrobbi to Lake Skytjedalsvatnet. It was not too steep but downhill on wet and partly slippery rock faces. If they had been dry it would have been easy walking. To cross the outlet of the lake there was a rather narrow bridge. Luckily there was a loose rope as a handrail.
Passing through some wet parts before the trail went uphill taking me out of the valley up to Mountain Vetle Ishaug. It went streight up often requiring my hands too. Mostly there where several options going up. I had to choose which one to take without knowing which one was easier and which was more difficult. It was really slow progressing. Finally I came across a ridge and arrived at the now easy trail. From up here I should have had a good view down into Valley Simadal. This was not the case as fog had moved into the valley.
From here on it was a pleasent and easy hike all the way to Vivelo Fjellstua. It became gradually warmer as I descended quite a bit. I could take off my jacket and roll up my sleeves. At the private stua I got a room, had a nice shower and dinner. I was served a nice trout.
