Ljosland Fjellstue

This section was paved road walking only. Being out of the mountains I had a blue sky with sunshine all day long. There was little traffic on the road. At Kyrkjebygda I stopped for lunch at the local supermarket. The thermometer outside the bank showed 24°C. This was hot. I rested for a while in the shade. Something I had hardly ever done this year as it was mostly pretty cool to cold in the mountains. From here on it became a bit busier on the road which I followed until Fiskland. Here I turned off to walk to Eikerapen. Before climbing up to this resort I met at Sinnes a group of locals who where partying in the sun. I was invited to some drinks and questioned about my hike. At Eikerapen they had a Country Music festival. The hotel still had a room. So I staid for the night. This was a long hiking day and I made more miles than planned.
