Ljosland Fjellstue               21.0 km

 

This was to be the last day hiking on trail. From tomorrow until the end it will be roads only. I started early going back to the bridge I crossed yesterday. It staid luckily dry until lunch. There where a number of up and downs on rockfaces today. To get from one down to the next up I had to cross wet meadows. Around lunchtime I arrived at the farm Pytten. Here I set down for lunch under a tree. While eating it started raining. In the beginning just a drizzle which turned slowly into rain and later into a heavy downpour. I moved on. The trail became a creek.

 

Here I met a group of sports students from the university in Hamburg. They where out hiking and camping out as a voluntary class. I talked a bit with their teacher. Before parting he invited me to come along in their bus from the ferry port in Denmark. I gladly accepted if meeting my schedule. Soon after I arrived at the gravel road along Lake Langevatn. After a while the rain stopped and I finally arrived at the lakes dam. Now it became a paved road and Ljosland Fjellstue was nearby. Here I staid for the night, had a nice dinner and shower. The dry room came in handy to dry out my things.
