In the morning I caught a bus to take me to the ferry at Wellingdorf. Here the E1 continues on the eastern shore of Kiel fjord. The youth hostel at Plön was my target today. Always following the river Schwentine I reached Preetz for an early lunch. Almost in range of sight of Plön and after passing many lakes I was back at river Schwentine. This was a sunny day. The youth hostel is located at the wrong end of Plön, when hiking the E1. There was still some construction going on.
