Four spa towns in the district of Holsteinische Schweiz were to be passed today. It started at Plön, continued with Gremsmühlen and its neighbour Malente before finally reaching Eutin. As I passed through outside of the main touristic season the hustle and bustle was limited. All day long I could see lakes. As I did not want to go to the top of "mountain" Bungsberg I used the well marked junction to bypass it. I was the only guest at a small pension in the village of Kasseedorf.

The path E1 leads through "Hohes Holz" (high woods) in nature preserve "Holsteinische Schweiz"
