Early morning I was one of the first people to get up at the camp ground. I left well before it got lively. Soon I was back on E1 happily walking north. The sky was cloudless and it was to become another very warm day. The trail was easy to walk and had hardly any ascents worth mentioning. Often it passed along fields and meadows. Here I could watch farmers harvesting their fields. In Blumberg I bought lunch at a local supermarket and consumed it in the shade. As I wanted to spend the night short of Gorge Wutach I had time to spare in the afternoon. So I had a long brake at a nice spot with great views. I had a last glimpse of Lake Constance. I also had several views of the white northern side of the Alps. Here I saw some deer too. Later it started getting cloudy. Towards evening it turned out to be difficult finding a spot for the night. It was near a noisy creek. It was ok.
