VIa.8    Section Sale - Rampina   25km

Due to the bus schedule and breakfast options we started rather late with a short bus ride back to Castelnuovo Scrivia. In the beginning it was slightly hazy. Upon leaving the bus we picked up the trail following River Scrivia until arriving at Tortona. After some searching we found a pizza place for lunch. Now we left the flat area of River Po and slowly started going uphill. We could see some of the peaks of the Ligurian Alps where still snow covered. And that's where we where heading to. We passed through a number of whine orchards before arriving at Camping Valle Uno in Rampina. Here we had the only two tents.
