I had a peaceful night at the fjellstation. The other two people slept in so I had breakfast on my own before starting out for the day. First thing I crossed the noisy river near the station on a bridge. The trail then follows the river often through bushes but away from it up on a ridge. Several times I had to ford through creeks and not all wearing my boots. It became a rather warm day with sunshine and rather light wind. Consequently I was pestered by mosquitoes and black flies most of the day. Except for lunch I hardly ever stopped thereby mostly avoiding the bugs.
In the afternoon clouds came up. I met no one all day long. The trail was partly marked rather poorly. Also it did not follow often four wheel drive tracks. I passed by the farm Rágesluobbalat with some outbuildings. It looked rather like a redneck farm and I could not ascertain where one could possibly stay for a night. Once I had set up my tent in the evening I had to kill tons of black flies before starting eating my dinner.
