Ia.13    Section Bealgevarri - Masi Ny Turistcenter   28 km

The day started with sunshine. Until arriving at the road in Masi I met no one. A bit of wind kept the black flies at bay. The trail had many wet and boggy stretches but is otherwise easy to hike with good views across the wide open land. The final seven kilometres to Masi are on a lightly used road, in the beginning gravel, later paved. Once I had walked along this road for a while I got a ride from a local on his quad with a small trailer. I could ride up front with the driver, his kids where in the trailer. We passed by the store on the way to Masi Ny Turistcenter.

Here I took a small cabin with showers in a separate building. Even so it became cloudy later in the day it became a rather warm. The shower was a very welcomed refreshment. The center has a restaurant where I had my dinner. Later a thunderstorm passed through.
