With continuing good weather I walked to river Weser today. The markings in Bad Bederkesa were incomplete and unclear. With help of ma Nokia AGPS I found the path after crossing the Federal Road again. Along sandy roads until arriving at Wehden I had no problems. From here the marked path follows the main road in direction of Debstedt. Soon after I had to follow small roads until arriving at Bremerhaven. I had planned to stay at Bremerhaven youth hostel tonight. However it was solidly booked and I had to change plans. The next youth hostel at Nordenham had sufficient beds available. The path followed the road Drangstedter Weg at the periphery of build up areas inside Bremerhaven. Eventually I turned off the path to take a bus until arriving at the ferry across river Weser. I spared this part in Bremerhaven. While crossing the river I had a great view of the museums in Bremerhaven and the Container Terminal. Upon leaving the ferry in Blexen I followed the marked pass along the dyke in direction of Nordenham. Starting at the former Airbus factory the pass follows for some kilometres a road away from the river. The river was reached again at the railway station of Nordenham. Here I left the E9 to continue to the youth hostel.

Again and again there are interesting views into back yards from the dyke. Here some one seems to live in the middle ages.
