The day started downhill. I had to get down to Lake Breisjøen to cross the outlet and start the climb on the other side. It turned out to be a long and very steep climb until arriving at the top at Tjønnhøhøa. Until arriving at the old farm Frederiksætra the trail went through forest and was partly overgrown. Finally I passed the tree line and continued along smooth trails. Towards lunch I arrived at DNT Storhöliseter. Before arriving I met several fishermen out for the day and a hiker from Israel. At the DNT hut I had dinner heating a can of Labskaus from the food store. Another meal I did not have to carry.
When continuing the clouds had started to show up. Soon it started raining. I crossed the River Vinstra on a bridge and gradually climbed up to Lake Øyangen. Along it's northern shore I could follow a gravel road which made hiking in the rain easier. When crossing the gravel road Jotunheimvegen I stopped for a monent inside a strange hut. It was on top of River Sandåa with a small wooden board to stand on. The hut was used in the past for fishing. It was not comfortable but dry for a moment.
Finally I arrived at DNT Oskampen. By now I had become really wet. Eight other hikers were staying in the two huts. I staid for the night.
