Following late breakfast at the full service hut I started off in wet weather. Soon it became dry and the trail was acceptable until about lunch time. The trail follows upstream the river along the southern slopes of Valley Iungsdalen. The further I got up in the valley the more rocky it became. And than the showers started. It became more difficult to hike. Along the shore of Lakes Vestre and Austre Volavatnet I had to climb across a lot of wet bolders. Rather late I finally arrived at DNT Kongshelleren. In both building all bunks but one where taken. It was reserved for me by a hiker from Oslo. She knew I was coming in late. Thank you. A couple with dogs arrived later and spent the night sleaping on the floor.
