In the clouds with rain, this is how the hiking day started. And it staid like this until I had the first glimps of Lake Sandvatnet. The trail was ok but rather wet. It sometimes was difficult to say whether it was a trail or a creek. From reaching Lake Sandvatnet on I hiked in the sun along the lake until arriving at a gravel road. This road leads to the other side of the lake thereby passing by two dams keeping the water in the lake. Having crossed River Sandvassana I left the road following the river downstream. After passing through the rocky and wet area around Klauvskeimoen the trail is back near the river. Before arriving at the DNT shelter I had to cross dried out creeks. I was the only one at the hut. The food store was well stocked for dinner and breakfast.
